On April 6, Mr. William Ruto, Vice-president of Kenya, visited the site of rural road works contract RWC-163.

After checking the work progress, quality and HSE situations at the site, Mr. Ruto expressed satisfaction over the works. He also had a cordial talk with the consultants and local employees, and praised the effort the company had made in localization.

Since commencement of the works, the project team have actively fulfilled the social responsibility of a Chinese enterprise in providing jobs for local people, and expanded the influence of STECOL. The visit of the vice-president will further encourage them to complete the project in time with guaranteed quality and safety.
