Recently, the Miyun Reservoir Water Diversion Works undertaken by the company has been awarded as “high-quality works in the Beijing water conservancy industry for year 2022-2023”.

The works is an important component of the Beijing South to North Water Diversion Project, which involves transferring water from Tuancheng Lake to Miyun Reservoir through a newly constructed Jingmi canal. The total length of the works is 103 km, with a total lift of 132.85m and installed capacity of 36,320 kw. The water transfer scale is 20 cu.m/s from Tuancheng Lake to Huairou Reservoir, and 10 cu.m/s from Huairou Reservoir to Miyun Reservoir.

The project team has, in line with the principle of "safety first, quality first", adhered to standardized and refined management supported with technology, and has overcome various difficulties to complete the works in a timely manner with guaranteed quality.
