Recently, the company, as the main author for the Key Technology of Low-carbon, Efficient and Refined High Standard Construction of Highway on Soft Soil, won a third-class Science and Technology Progress Award for Year 2024 from China Highway and Transportation Society (CHTS).

This achievement, based on the S14 highway project in Poland, has been jointly developed by the company’s European branch, Hebei University of Technology, and Tianjin Highway Development Service Center. Starting from the optimization of soft foundation reinforcement and earthwork balance, GPS+GIS+BIM technology is comprehensively used to achieve intelligent and efficient control of earthwork engineering. The scope of study covers construction technology of railway bridge foundation, retaining walls on soft soil foundations, wrapped embankment brick reinforced retaining walls that matches rapid construction of soft soil foundations, main factors affecting quality of SMA pavement and methods of improvement, optimization of upper bridge structure and integrated environmentally friendly design, meeting the requirements of environmental protection and shortening the construction period.
