E75 Railway Passes Completion Acceptance

Public Date:2025-01-09

On 2 January, the Polish State Railway Company (PKP PLK) signed the acceptance reports for the last two sections of the E75 railway project. Thus, all 25 sections of the project have passed the completion acceptance.

The E75 railway project is a public procurement infrastructure project with the largest single- contract value in Poland. The project adopts EU technical and acceptance specifications, featured with broad expertise, high standards, and synchronized construction/operation requirements.

Since the beginning of the project, the project team has given full play to localized management and operation, and established an efficient decision-making and communication mechanism. The project has withstood the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ukrainian war, sharp inflation, and lack of labor force. The change of environmental protection rules also delayed the mobilization of some works for nearly two years. Furthermore, "Construction/operation synchronization" raised stringent requirements for the continuity of work time, space, and safety. With an efficient organizational model, sufficient risk analysis and response strategies, and a benefit-oriented approach, various risk factors have been resolved one by one, and the four milestones stipulated in the contract have been completed on schedule. The project has achieved gratifying results in safety, quality, schedule, cost control and other aspects.
