On Jan. 10, Mr. He Zhansong, the company’s CEO, attended the commencement ceremony of Shenzhen Metro Phase IV Works in South China.

The Shenzhen Metro Line 12 is a vital component of the Phase IV Works, comprising a subway of 40km with 33 stations, including 18 transfer stations. It is the largest metro project undertaken by POWERCHINA so far. The civil works assigned to STECOL covers four sections and three stations.

Since entering the Shenzhen metro market in 2012, STECOL has participated in construction of Line 7, Line 4, and Line 5 extension, covering earthworks, furnishing, rail, equipment, etc. Due to outstanding performance, it has won a number of prizes and honors, including a national premium quality award. 

At the site meeting, Mr. He requested the project team to enhance talent cultivation, and build a high quality project by paying full attention to the geological conditions and supplementary investigation.
