On March 29, an ESHS team from the World Bank inspected the irrigation and flood control works downstream Nzoia River in Kenya, accompanied by the client and the consultants.

After checking the intake, dyke and the contractor’s camps, the inspection team expressed satisfaction over the mobilization status and camp construction. They also gave some valuable advice in terms of land acquisition, employees’ well being, community relationship, etc.

Financed by the World Bank and KFW, the project will play a vital role in irrigation and flood control in the western region of Kenya.
